IF MISS INDIA NORTHERN CALIFORNIA 2009 WINS MISS INDIA USA 2009, THEN PARTICIPATION IN MISS INDIA WORLWIDE 2009 IS MANDATORY.
Women of Indian origin have always been known for their beauty. But beauty is not just skin deep. What makes a contemporary Indian woman stand apart is not just her looks - she is intelligent ... she is talented ... most of all she has her own mind.
Miss India Northern California is a pageant designed to showcase all of the above and more. Miss India northern california Beauty Pageant embraces Indian culture to showcase the best in the modern Indian woman.
The pageant consists of five segments - Indian Sari, western gown , Modern Indian, Talent and a Question & Answer session. (All the outfits for the pageant will be organised by contestants themselves.)
Who can participate?
Any woman of indian origin between the ages of 17 and 27 ...
• The applicant is a natural born female
• The applicant is not / has not been married, and has never had a marriage or never given birth to a child; is not now pregnant nor a parent. If any of these conditions change, the applicant is to notify us immediately.
• You must have a talent such as but not limited to … i.e. dance, sing, act, recital etc. This needs to be explained in detail and demonstrated at the auditions.
• You will be required to attend training/grooming sessions before the pageant. Dates/Times to be announced later.
• Ability to travel to the next Miss India USA Pageant in NEW JERSEY On December 28TH 2007 if selected as a winner for atleast 5 days before the show.
